Applications for the following positions on the PLASTA Executive Committee and Regional Representatives for 2024 will open in December 2024 for all UK & Ireland trainees with a National Training Number in Plastic Surgery.

Applications for the PLASTA subcommittees (operations, communications, junior, equality & diversity) will open in January 2024. Subcommittee roles will be open to all PLASTA members with or without a National Training Number.

Timeline

Applications open 5/12/24
Application deadline - 11/12/24
AGM and Hustings - 16/12/24
Voting deadline - 22/12/24
Results - 24/12/24
Handover - By 11/1/25
New committee to take over from 13/1/25

Hustings for the Executive Committee roles will take place (via zoom) on Thursday 16th December 2024. Candidates will be permitted 1 minute to verbally present their pitch/ideas for 2024 committee roles to the wider membership over the zoom meeting (no powerpoints please).

If you are applying for an Executive Committee position and will not be able to attend the Hustings, you can either send a 1 minute video of your speech, or ask that your written self-nomination statement be read out. Candidates for Regional Representative roles will NOT be asked to pitch at hustings.
