DESCRIPTION:This course aims to provide the delegate with skills to manage soft tissue injuries of the hand. It complements the Hand Fracture Fixation course to provide a complete hand trauma management programme.\n\nThe following topics will be covered using both sophisticated simulation models and innovatively designed biological dissections:\n\nSurgical access for different zones in the hand\n\nTendon retrieval & repair\n\nTendon reconstruction\n\nPulley repair/reconstruction\n\nNerve repair\n\nNerve grafts\n\nSkin reconstruction\n\nComplex multi-level injuries\n\nThis distinctive course using live video demonstrations, multi-modal magnification and digital technologies that will promote participants to learn/refine skills. Delegates will be offered an opportunity to be assessed using Work Based Assessments or other forms of assessment(for international delegates). This will contribute towards appraisals and career progression.\n\n
